About This Project

Hike Nova Scotia’s Re-Connecting with Nature Workshops are one-day, hands-on workshops that are held mostly outdoors. These workshops aim to increase and strengthen the number of adult leaders in Nova Scotia who can help children and youth spend more time appreciating, understanding, and acting for the natural world while being physically active. Workshops are available for youth group leaders, recreation and camp staff, and early childhood educators. Reduced rates are available for parents not associated with an organization and volunteer leaders working with youth and students.
