West Hants Parks and Recreation hold special events on their trails to encourage people to get outdoors and active while celebrating the holidays. For example, on Halloween they hosted a “Halloween Scavenger Hunt,” for Easter an Easter Egg Hunt, and this past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic they hosted the Hands Free Bunny Hunt. The goal of these events is to provide the community with fun active ways to celebrate the holidays while on their trails.
