Are you looking for a Breath of Fresh Air? The first national Outdoor Play Summit is only 50 days away! Join us September 27-29th, 2019 for a national forum on outdoor play, taking place in an open-air environment, located at the Ottawa Forest and Nature Schools and Wesley Clover Park’s Campground, where thought leaders, practitioners, researchers and policymakers can connect and share best practices. Outdoor Play Canada is happy to be partnering with Child and Nature Alliance of Canada, Earth Day Canada and the Healthy Active Living and Obesity Research Group for this conference.
The Summit will feature thought leaders in the field of outdoor play as well as forest workshops and discussions, such as British risk expert and outdoor play advocate Tim Gill, University of British Columbia professor and BC Children’s Hospital Academic Scientist Dr. Mariana Brussoni, Dr. Mark Tremblay, Director of Healthy Active Living and Obesity Research at CHEO, as well as policy leader in early childhood education in Canada and abroad, Charles E. Pascal!
