About This Project

Mentoring Nature Connections is a British Columbia-based blog dedicated to supporting teachers in gaining confidence with outdoor teaching and learning. Resources on this site focus on Reggio-inspired practices, including:

  1. Student-led learning
  2. Collaboration between parents, teachers, other community members
  3. Use of ‘100 languages’ to communicate
  4. Environment as a third teacher
  5. Teacher as a facilitator
  6. Loose parts and natural materials
