BREATH OF FRESH AIR is a three-day Outdoor Play Summit where thought leaders, practitioners, researchers, and policy makers come together to connect, collaborate, and share best practices. The summit will feature inspiring talks, hands-on workshops, and open conversations on how research, policy, and practice can promote and shape the future of outdoor play in Canada and abroad.

We are currently looking for volunteers to support the planning and delivery of the summit through the following subcommittees:

• Finance (budgets, sponsorship, grants)
• Program (speakers, abstract submissions, book of abstracts)
• Operations and Logistics (food, rentals, event coordination)
• Inclusion
• Volunteers
• Public Relations

Whether you have experience in event planning, communications, research, administration, or simply a passion for advancing outdoor play, we welcome your participation.

Interested in getting involved? We would love to hear from you. Please reach out to info@outdoorplaycanada.ca to learn more about the available opportunities and how you can contribute to making BoFA 2027 a success!
